Job Overview
WSP USA, a leading professional services consulting firm, is offering a Data Science Internship for Fall 2024. This opportunity is located in Kennesaw, GA, and is designed to provide hands-on, meaningful work experience to enhance education and professional aptitude. Interns will gain exposure to real projects and work alongside senior staff, benefiting from a structured mentorship and networking through our Developing Professionals Network.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of .NET MAUI mobile applications.
- Support web development tasks for ongoing client projects or in-house developed commercial applications.
- Engage in software engineering tasks aimed at developing technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of Software Engineering and apply safety requirements under supervision.
- Evaluate or analyze compiled information following standard methods or specific instructions.
Who You Are
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Computer Science or related Undergraduate program.
- Must be 18 or older with a demonstrated interest in Computer Science or related field.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of expressing ideas effectively to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, and tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited Computer Science and Engineering or related Masters or PhD program.
- Experience with C# and/or .NET MAUI.
- Previous internship and leadership involvement on campus.
