About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Develop and validate models to optimize customer interactions.
- Build Audible-wide data engineering pipelines.
- Innovate and create groundbreaking applications using cutting-edge approaches.
- Use causal inference and develop compelling data visualizations.
- Collaborate with other data scientists, machine learning experts, and engineers on cross-disciplinary efforts.
About the Team
Audible's Data Science team partners with marketing, content, product, and technology teams to solve business and technology problems using scientific approaches. We employ scalable cutting-edge Data Science (DS), machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) knowledge to better target customers and prospects, understand and personalize content, and optimize the book-listening experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
- Experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.
- 3+ years of relevant experience; or, PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience.
- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Operational Research, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
- Experience in a machine learning or data scientist role with a large technology company.
