About the Role
As a Lead Research Scientist in our Artificial Intelligence Group, your primary responsibility will be to lead applied research and development efforts to advance the state-of-the-art in AI and Machine Learning. You will work on making our next-generation products smarter and more user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Innovation: Push the boundaries of AI and Machine Learning, particularly in smart app development.
- Solution Design: Develop solutions for real-world problems, from ideation through research, prototyping, and productization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with AI Engineers, Research Scientists, and product teams to integrate new developments into our products.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to team members, including mentoring master's and PhD students.
- Project Management: Take technical responsibility for full lifecycle client-facing projects, ensuring software quality, observability, and scalability.
- Communication: Clearly communicate research progress and milestones to both internal and external audiences. Share findings with the community and be a thought leader in AI.
- Research Collaboration: Partner with other research institutions to advance research goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields is highly valued.
- Experience: 5+ years in Machine Learning roles with deep expertise in Deep Learning, Neural Networks, or Natural Language Processing.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Large Language Models in production, and hands-on experience with ML/Deep Learning platforms like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, HuggingFace, and Scikit-Learn.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and high-level problem-solving skills.
- Creativity and Innovation: Be resourceful, innovative, and curious.
