About the Role
Last year, Voyado won Breakits award for best product organization! This means we already have a great organization with happy developers working with our product Engage. We are looking for a Director of Engineering that will work strategically and tactically with the continued growth of our agile development organization with focus on maintaining the current state of success and well-being as well as streamlining the current processes and realize our product vision regarding one of our products, Engage.
You will be the main speaking partner for the Engage development organization with stakeholders both internally within Voyado, as well as externally towards partners and customers. In this role, you will also work with change management where you will be responsible to execute on business initiatives while putting your own personal touch on to the deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the vision and strategy for our Engage development teams including growth, methodologies, and personal development
- Coach, lead and have personnel responsibility of our Engineering Managers
- Strategic and tactical team planning, including budget responsibility
- Guide our teams in our OKR process to set goals and measure outcomes
- Plan and coordinate strategic improvement initiatives and lead change management
- Align processes, tools and methodology between our product development groups (e.g. Elevate)
Who You Are
You are likely a strategic person who likes to contribute with new ideas and fresh input. Furthermore, you are likely very communicative, someone who will get your points through regardless of the level of knowledge of the recipient. The role includes working closely with many stakeholders, hence communication skills and a strong ability to work with and inspire others are key for success.
Qualifications
- Worked as a Senior Engineering manager, Head of Development or similar
- Experience with scaling agile product organizations with multiple teams
- Fluent in technical and business English, both spoken and written
