Job Overview
We are seeking a Founding Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Pigeon, a company backed by Y Combinator. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the full stack of our software solutions, focusing on both backend and frontend components.
- Take full ownership of projects from scoping and system design to implementation, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to shape our technology stack, processes, and company culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend developer.
- Proficient in REST API development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of data encryption and secure data transfer.
- Familiarity with our technology stack, including AWS, Kubernetes, Vercel, Python, Flask, SqlAlchemy, NextJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, CSS, and Tailwind.
