About the Role
We are seeking a talented, motivated, and self-starting backend/full-stack engineer to join the Pigeon team and work with us out of our beautiful Midtown office. As the first engineering hire, you will have the opportunity to shape our stack, processes, and culture. Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a full stack or backend developer
- Experience with REST API development
- Able to work in a fast paced early startup environment
- Able to take full ownership of projects including scoping, system design, implementation, QA, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Prior startup and/or SaaS experience
- Experience with encryption and transfer of data
- Experience with any part our stack
