Paces is at the forefront of developing software solutions for green infrastructure developers. About the Role
We are seeking a scrappy and customer-centric full-stack engineer to join our team as we scale up. This is a unique opportunity to build systems from the ground up and take ownership of a significant portion of our tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Spearhead the development of large-scale projects and collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams.
- Optimize Performance: Enhance the speed and scalability of our data-heavy platform.
- User-Centric Design: Conduct user research, iterate with users, improve user experience, and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with our CTO and team to directly impact the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
- Fast Learner: Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and concepts.
- User Focused: Passionate about building products that users love and enjoy engaging with users to understand their needs.
Bonus Points
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with map frameworks such as Leaflet.js, Mapbox, and Google Maps.
- Experience scaling data-intensive, AI, and analytics-heavy solutions.
- Experience with AWS for building and deploying applications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: €130,000 - €200,000 annually.
- Equity: Competitive equity compensation.

- Work Environment: Hybrid working model, with 2-4 days in the office per week.
