Join Our Team as a Staff Fullstack Engineer
Postscript is redefining marketing for ecommerce companies by introducing SMS as a new channel for engagement, retention, and conversion. We are backed by top investors like Greylock and Y Combinator, and we're looking for a motivated fullstack software engineer to join our Fondue team.
About the Role
As a Staff Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Fondue Cashback product line. This product increases profitability for ecommerce merchants by replacing traditional coupon codes with brand-embedded CashBack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices in TypeScript using Node.js, backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores in an AWS environment.
- Work with modern software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile.
- Build scalable systems that can adapt to evolving business strategies.
- Collaborate with a global team, primarily working in EST hours.
What We’re Looking For
- 8-10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in TypeScript (Node.js).
- Experience in engineering SaaS products on a cloud platform (3+ years).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for technology.
- Experience in ecommerce and/or payments is optional but beneficial.
- Leadership experience or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
