About the Role
This is a founding engineering role at Faraday, where you will have expanded ownership and a significant impact on the success of the company. You will collaborate directly with the CEO & Founder, Alex Coleman. We have already partnered with some of the leading US home service brands and are looking for someone to prepare our platform for scale.
Our office is located in Chinatown, NYC, but we are open to remote work.
What You Will Do
- Improve Faraday by shipping product features, fixing bugs, and removing technical debt.
- Develop systems for high-volume traffic and data processing.
- Work closely with customers to prioritize feature development.
- Build tools to accelerate both individual and team workflows, but only when off-the-shelf solutions won’t do.
Who You Are
- Ability to drive things forward with relatively little oversight.
- 3+ years of work experience in full-stack development (we know great early-stage engineering can come from a variety of backgrounds).
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with AI and ML concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
- Have experience and desire to be in startup environments, either as a founder or an early-stage engineer (bonus points, not required).
