The Role
We're seeking a driven Senior/Staff Software Engineer with a passion for AI and machine learning to build a 0-to-1 product. As an early engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the product and developing our voice AI agent.
Responsibilities
- Build and expand our voice and LLM stack to enable fast and capable conversational experiences.
- Develop new communication modalities to allow customers to engage with their provider in the easiest way possible.
- Remain at the forefront of LLMs, integrating the latest advancements, evaluations, and best practices into our development processes to enable new solutions customers didn’t know were possible.
- Work in an ambiguous environment and set your own tasks based on larger goals and understanding of customer needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, robust backend systems.
- Expertise in Python, Django, React, and/or JavaScript.
- Previous experience at a Series A or B startup is a plus.

Our office is located in San Francisco, CA by Montgomery BART. This is an on-site position.
