Job Description
As a member of the UI Libraries team, you will be responsible for introducing the latest UI technologies to the firm and streamlining their adoption. You will work with business and development teams in a variety of businesses at Goldman Sachs to define, develop, and validate the engineering solutions upon which the user experience for internal and external users are built.
You will help shape our overall design system and visual language with a component library that is used in hundreds of projects at the firm. It lays the foundation for producing a coherent user experience across all of our web, desktop, tablet, and smartphone apps across the firm. The library is available for two enterprise-level frameworks: React and Angular and tested and implemented in TypeScript.

Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years experience (based on degree)
- Strong knowledge of Typescript and React
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript, ES2015+ features, and modern web development
- Strong type-checking and debugging skills
- Good knowledge of CSS
- Passion for clean code, adherence to TypeScript, and other best practices
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Experience working in delivery-driven agile SDLC covering research, design, and engineering
- Hands-on experience with Typescript, CSS-in-JS, mobile app development, accessible components, and websites
- Experience with front-end build tooling and testing libraries (Webpack, Vite, Karma, Vitest, etc.)
