Job Overview
Morgan Stanley's Global Capital Markets (GCM) division is seeking a Frontend Developer to join our Strategies team in Budapest. This role involves supporting and scaling our suite of business strategy, client intelligence, and risk management tools. You will be instrumental in leading technology advancements by developing libraries, improving user interfaces, performing code reviews, identifying and remediating system risks, and educating peers and desks on new technology solutions to integrate into their workflows for efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities
- Improve our monitoring, pricing, risk mitigating, and opportunity-finding tools for strategic lending and leveraged finance groups.
- Develop visualization tools and data reporting systems.
- Increase overall efficiency and performance speed of our workflows and related processes.
- Regular communication with colleagues in the New York GCM division.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript, React, and NodeJS.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and effective verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.
Preferred Skills
- Programming experience with q/KDB, Python, or other OO languages.
- Development background, implementation experience with new technologies (Big Data, Cloud, ML).
- Basic knowledge of accounting, finance, loan, and credit products.
