Job Description
Join Goldman Sachs as an Associate Software Engineer in our Asset & Wealth Management division, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology solutions that support our global investment management operations. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to design and implement end-to-end software solutions.
- Develop high-performance, reliable software systems using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Work on API design and development, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.
- Utilize modern frameworks and tools such as GraphQL, Elastic Search, Kafka, and Kubernetes to build responsive applications.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Innovate and incubate new ideas to solve complex problems, often involving large data sets and real-time processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in Java development and experience with automated testing and SDLC concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to express ideas clearly in both meetings and documentation.
- Experience in UI/UX development, API design, and working with relational databases is a plus.
- Knowledge of the financial industry and compliance or risk functions is desirable.
