Your Role
You will be working with our CTO, Tom, our Ruby backender Alex, our Frontend Dev Isah, as well as the rest of the mobile team (Feef and Vahagn), our QA Feyi and the product team, Dave and Pedro.
Your Challenge
- Maintain a platform used by 200,000 globally in 190 countries.
- Come up with new ideas on how to improve our platform and app.
- Problem solve improvements on the overall user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy both front-end and back-end components.
- Implement and optimize data models to support application requirements.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Embrace our startup culture of trust, ownership, and accountability, welcoming challenges that extend beyond your role.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where team members feel empowered to innovate without fear of judgment.
Who You Are
- Proficiency in back-end technologies Ruby on Rails.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
