Job Description
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the Lounge Supply team at Zalando, you will be part of a dynamic group focused on designing and developing robust APIs and services. Your role will involve both frontend and backend development, with a significant emphasis on backend services to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Deploy: Work on frontend services using React and TypeScript, and backend services using Golang. You will be responsible for deploying and operating these services to ensure they meet business needs.
- Collaborate: Engage with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts to create impactful solutions for our customers.
- Improve Processes: Enhance internal processes, documentation, and ways of working to boost team efficiency.
- Mentorship: Coach fellow engineers and new joiners, sharing best practices in software development.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 4 years of industry experience in software engineering, with a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in React, Golang, microservices architecture, REST services, and API design. Experience with Git is essential.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
