Join Our Team as a Full Stack Software Engineer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our fully remote team at DownPat. As one of our early hires, you'll work closely with our CTO on all aspects of the product development cycle. This role offers significant growth potential for someone who is excited to take initiative and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our application stack: This includes a Node.js backend and a React web interface.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO: Drive product development from ideation to deployment.
- Implement best practices: Focus on development, testing, and DevOps to ensure the stability and scalability of our applications.
- Experiment with new technologies: Incorporate fresh ideas into our product offerings.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with software development, testing, and DevOps best practices.
- Strong written communication skills: Essential for effective collaboration in a remote work environment.
- Ability to operate independently: Demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript: Highly desirable, but not required.
- Prior experience working in a fully remote environment.
- A passion for learning and a curiosity to explore new technologies.

- Technical Interview: Two sessions, each 1 hour.
