Fullstack Software Engineer for Risk Classification Procedures (m/w/d)

About the Role
For the business area of bank management, specifically in the risk classification department, we are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer for risk classification procedures at our Münster location. The risk classification procedures are the central instrument in the OSPlus core banking system to measure the default risk of borrowers during credit issuance. Our risk classification procedures are continuously validated and further developed to ensure high discrimination and predictive accuracy of the rating model.
Responsibilities
- You will accompany the complete software lifecycle for risk classification procedures and be responsible for new and further development in both the frontend and backend.
- Develop banking-specific requirements in rating and customer scoring using modern programming languages and frameworks with various database technologies.
- Develop technical concepts and implement them in coordination with our business analysts and the entire team.
- Create system models based on technical specifications or concepts.
- Conduct initial tests of your implementations to ensure a solution that meets requirements.
- Contribute your own ideas while ensuring the high quality of the application.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT specialist).
- Several years of experience and excellent knowledge in SQL, DB2, and concepts of relational databases, as well as software development in Java.
- Practical experience in automating test systems and using testing frameworks.
- Ability to think and work in a structured, independent, and conceptual manner.
- Resilience and willingness to occasionally be on call.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as social competence in dealing with various interlocutors.
- Motivation and enthusiasm for teamwork.
