Blip is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Back-end Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will focus on enhancing the journeys offered by our product, ensuring that our platform continues to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development: Work within a product team to build a robust platform that handles millions of messages weekly.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply agile methodologies for continuous delivery in a high-performance team.
- Continuous Learning: Embrace a culture of constant learning and adaptability to change.
- Product Evolution: Deliver agile updates and improvements to our product.
- Software Architecture: Utilize software architecture patterns, clean code practices, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Deployment Participation: Actively participate in deployment and release processes.
What We Expect From You
- Programming Experience: Experience with programming logic and object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
- Code Review: Experience with pull requests and code reviews.
- NoSQL Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Microservices: Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Positive Attitude: Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Nice to Have
- Full-Stack Interest: Willingness to learn full-stack development if not already experienced.
- Cloud and Containers: Experience with cloud ecosystems and containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, GCP, AWS, Docker).
