Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about software development and eager to work on both back-end and front-end projects. You will be involved in the entire development process of our SaaS platform, from planning and requirements gathering to maintenance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle of our SaaS platform.
- Work on both back-end and front-end development tasks.
- Implement the platform for clients and partners, assisting them in system integration and modeling.
- Develop specializations as you gain more experience, potentially leading to a senior role where you will guide colleagues and engage more with clients.
- Contribute to the development of modeling languages, test strategies, and other advanced topics related to model-driven engineering.
About the Company
Our company is a spin-off from the University of Twente, focused on enabling the next generation of software development through advanced automation. We are in the scale-up phase, expanding our client base and organization. Our platform is a low-code solution that helps clients verify real-time systems and automate financial processes.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model: work from our Amsterdam office, from home, and on-site with clients.
- Join a growing, informal team of about 15 people.

Candidate Profile
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also considered.
- Strong interest in technical topics such as formal methods, algorithms, parallelism, and binary communication protocols.
- Excellent English communication skills; Dutch proficiency is a plus due to our client base.
- Ability to work collaboratively and continuously learn both technical and communication skills.
