Role Overview
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Pave, you will be at the forefront of developing our compensation platform, which is powered by the largest real-time compensation dataset on earth. You will work closely with our Market Pricing and Plan & Execute teams to build products that enable our customers to manage their compensation strategies in a frictionless and transparent way.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fullstack applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including ideation, scoping, and execution.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience using modern web technologies.
- Strong product sense with the ability to make tradeoffs for MVP and future iterations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and fill in gaps in product/design specs.
- Experience in B2B SaaS tech companies, especially during hypergrowth, is a plus.
- Comfortable with prototyping to test ideas before full development.
