Overview
Alteryx is seeking a Lead Developer to join our Cloud Engineering team in Prague. This role is pivotal in establishing best practices and fostering an engineering culture that attracts, retains, and delights top developers. You will be instrumental in optimizing developer workflows, processes, and environments to enhance productivity and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor: Guide internal development teams in achieving their roadmap goals through effective leadership and mentorship.
- Optimize Workflows: Enhance developer workflows and processes to ensure a seamless and productive environment.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance on compliance and architectural controls, particularly in cloud environments.
- Tooling and Infrastructure: Develop and maintain tooling solutions using major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support development needs.
- Programming and Scripting: Utilize programming skills in Go Lang, TypeScript, and Python to build and maintain robust systems.
- System Configuration: Manage configuration and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Pulumi.
- Continuous Integration/Deployment: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and Helm to ensure efficient deployment processes.
- Maintain Systems: Build and maintain highly available systems using VM tooling like Docker.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cloud tooling and infrastructure.
- Strong programming and scripting skills.
- Experience with CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of configuration management and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
