Job Overview
Join Metyis as an Azure CloudOps/DevOps Lead in Amsterdam, where you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful change for our clients. You will be the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management, and analytics processes. Lead your team in creating pipelines for data management, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services and APIs.
Responsibilities
- Work within a team of world-class engineers and data scientists.
- Establish and maintain infrastructures critical for data-driven decisions.
- Design platform infrastructure, network, and security.
- Ensure our data platform operates at full efficiency.
- Operate with open-source platforms, enabling rapid adoption of new technologies.

Requirements
- Previous experience in Cloud/ML/Data/DevOps/IT.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and network fundamentals.
- Scripting and programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, preferably with Terraform.
- Experience developing software implementing API functionality using REST, Thrift, JSON, or similar.
- Experience using configuration management software.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Experience with systems, IT operations, and process re-engineering.
- Experience with Azure and its data analytics components.
- Experience with Hadoop and its components.
- Strong knowledge of automation and open-source tools.
- Experience with R&D agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
