Join GoodData as a Senior Solution Engineer
GoodData’s Professional Services team is seeking a skilled BI and/or ETL specialist to join us as a Senior Solution Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing customer projects on the GoodData BI Platform, contributing to the overall architecture, and potentially acting as a Solution Architect on certain projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement BI Solutions: Create analytic applications for accessing and analyzing data.
- Data Pipeline Implementation: Develop complete ETL processes and data warehouse solutions.
- Data Visualization: Build dashboards and reports to provide insights.
- Automation: Script and prepare automated executions, and provision datamarts.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Automate infrastructure deployment and operations in cloud environments.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize query executions and provide feedback on project architecture.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant work experience and possess the following skills:

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Proven experience with ETL process design and implementation
- Expertise in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling
- Strong logical and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in customer-facing and consulting environments
- Familiarity with modern data stack components, including data ingestion, ETL processes, data warehousing solutions, orchestration tools, data visualization platforms, and data governance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python

- Advanced experience with Unix environments
- Graphical design experience
