About Bountiful
Bountiful is a data analytics platform and ESG marketplace that connects the gray market crop value chain from farmer to buyer. Our goal is to modernize and bring transparency to gray market crops like almonds, grapes, and walnuts. Impacting why and how the value chain farms, markets, and buys these crops.
Your Role
As a Lead Full Stack Developer at Bountiful, you will be responsible for leading all software development activities for our tools. You will join our existing team of two developers and help build the foundation for a larger team working directly with our Head of Product.
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing codebase, databases, infrastructure, and CI tools.
- Lead planned upgrades to main app and infrastructure.
- Lead and delegate tasks to other software developers.
- Lead software meetings.
- Document software.
- Contribute to the product roadmap and help dictate future technology and infrastructure tools.
- Report directly to Head of Product and CEO.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in software engineering, computer science, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- 3-5 years of relevant software experience, particularly at a startup.
- Excellent communicator.
- Self-starter and self-motivator; strengths in strategic thinking and executing.
- Creative mind.
- Excels well under pressure.
- You’re a builder.
- Attention to detail.
- Founders' mentality and understanding of what drives our business.
- Can frame the product from the point of view of users.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile framework, specifically working with Jira.
