Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Blockchain & Digital Assets group at our Dublin Technology Hub. This role is pivotal in developing innovative products at a global scale, focusing on blockchain technology to revolutionize payment solutions.
The Role
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:
- Work with a team of talented developers to create high-performance Java and Blockchain-based solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in the analysis, design, and development of complex applications.
- Deliver secure, extensible solutions optimized for performance and scalability.
- Lead and guide the team through all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring compliance with Mastercard standards.
- Engage in research, evaluation, and adoption of new technologies and frameworks.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
All About YOU
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 10 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.
- Advanced knowledge in blockchain technologies like Ethereum and smart contracts.
- Proficiency in Java (JDK 8 or greater), Spring Framework, and front-end technologies like Angular.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A passion for software development and a drive for continuous improvement.
