The Role
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer / Tech Lead with expertise in C++ to join our team at Monad Labs. This role involves leading the development and optimization of our blockchain technology, focusing on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
Responsibilities
- Research and develop core improvements to the blockchain protocol.
- Design and implement distributed algorithms, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate new technologies and solutions.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of blockchain applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficient in C++, with experience in Rust, Go, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
