Job Overview
Join Docusign as a Senior Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in building the core functionalities and infrastructure of our products. This position is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including performance optimization, scaling, deployment, provisioning, and telemetry. Additionally, you will contribute to the evolution of our automation and test automation processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform development tasks within the team.
- Participate in solution and vision discussions.
- Ensure key KPIs such as performance, scaling, and maintainability are met.
- Drive your own work and secure progress with personal responsibility.
- Own and manage some of our technical components.
What You Bring
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python or JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin), or other modern programming languages such as C# and Go.
- Experience with highly scalable and highly available systems.
- Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build scalable data processing pipelines using Spark or PySpark.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable cloud-based software platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience in building production-ready software systems in AI and machine learning.
- Experience with Docker, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Kafka.
- Passion for new technologies and a track record of being a self-starter.
