The National Hockey League (NHL) is seeking a visionary and experienced Senior Director of Mobile Engineering to lead our iOS and Android development teams. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction, technical innovation, and overall success of our mobile engineering efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-driven mobile applications that reach millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the iOS and Android development teams.
• Roadmap Execution: Define and execute the mobile engineering roadmap, aligning with the league's goals and priorities.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of iOS and Android engineers to deliver exceptional results.
• Best Practices: Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and processes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
• Innovation: Drive technical innovation and excellence, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code through code reviews and quality assurance processes.
• Culture Building: Champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning within the mobile engineering teams.
• CI/CD Management: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment of iOS and Android applications.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10-12 years in software development, with at least 8 years in mobile development.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leadership and success in managing iOS and/or Android engineering teams.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of mobile technologies, platforms, and ecosystems, including iOS and Android SDKs, frameworks, and tools.
• Architecture: Strong technical background with experience in mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• CI/CD: Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android applications.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary

The salary range for this position is €170,000 to €210,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
