The Job
As a Lead Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a React application using Next.js, focusing on performance, flexibility, and stability.
- Ensuring the software is maintainable and performant, with a focus on long-term cost and maintenance.
- Solving user experience and technical problems, considering both immediate needs and future scalability.
- Participating in solution and architectural design discussions, actively contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the project.
- Leading and mentoring a small team of developers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to understand and address technical challenges.
- Building software that adheres to best practices in performance, flexibility, and scalability.
- Ensuring code reliability through comprehensive testing and adherence to coding standards.

Technical Skills
- Proficient in ReactJS, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experienced with accessibility standards and ensuring software is accessible to all users.
- Skilled in automated testing, including unit and integration tests.
- Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and cloud computing deployments (AWS ECS, Kubernetes).
