At Picnic, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy groceries with our innovative and sustainable app-only service. We handle almost everything in-house, from forecasting to developing our first automated warehouse and new electric Picnic vehicles. Our customer base is growing rapidly across the Netherlands, Germany, and France, and we’re looking for a passionate Marketing intern to join our Amsterdam HQ.
Role Description
As a Marketing intern, you will be part of the Customer Team, responsible for all of Picnic’s marketing, customer proposition, and experience. You will support the team by creating campaigns, defining specific customer segments to optimize our communication targeting, and measuring the effect of campaigns with AB-tests. You will also help in analyzing results to come up with improvements and identify future opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication and product marketing campaigns.
- Identify, understand, and help define target customer groups.
- Connect with stakeholders of other teams.
- Track, analyze, and report on results.
- Support marketing operations.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research, including customer interviews or A/B testing.
About You
- You’re pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s in Marketing management, Marketing Intelligence, Business, Communication science, or equivalent.
- Strong emphasis on exactness and thoroughness in campaign delivery.
- Hands-on, analytical, and creative mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Experience with marketing automation systems (like Selligent or Braze) is a plus.
