About the Role
As a Product Designer at Picnic Technologies, you will be part of the Internal Products Design team, focusing on designing apps that enhance the work experience of our employees. This role involves tackling complex problems and creating intuitive, user-friendly applications that support our warehouse and delivery staff.
Responsibilities
- Design Ownership: Take full responsibility for the design process of internal applications, from concept to implementation.
- Interaction Design: Focus on crafting engaging user interactions within our apps.
- Problem Solving: Address and untangle complex logistical processes to improve operational efficiency.
- User Research: Conduct qualitative research with the support of our UX team to guide design decisions.
- End-to-End Design: Manage all stages of the design process, including UI details and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing learning and development through feedback, mentoring, and training opportunities provided by Picnic.
What We Look For
- Passion for Design: A strong desire to create user-centered solutions that simplify complex processes.
- Experience: 0-3 years in a relevant design field, with a preference for experience in B2B or enterprise applications.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in design or a related field.
- Tools: Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; Dutch is not required but beneficial.
- EU Work Permit: Must be legally eligible to work in the EU.
