Twipe is a mediatech scale-up based in Leuven, Belgium, working with leading newspaper publishers in Europe and the US to grow their digital subscribers and sustain quality journalism. We offer cloud-based digital edition publishing, analytics, and personalization solutions. Our innovative solutions accelerate the growth of newspapers including Le Monde, The Telegraph, and the various titles of Mediahuis (De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, De Telegraaf, etc.). To inspire our industry, we gather and analyze industry knowledge and share insights with our growing Future of News publishers’ community.

Your Role

As a Mid-Level .NET Developer, you will be responsible for creating a robust software platform capable of handling hundreds of installations and delivering services to millions of users. You will have end-to-end responsibility, ensuring the smooth production of new features, from technical analysis to deployment and follow-up. You will also drive initiatives to maintain system availability and monitoring while being mindful of costs.

You will optimize the CI/CD pipeline by following best practices and writing clear, maintainable code with thorough unit test coverage. By reviewing pull requests, you will help uphold high standards within the team. You will manage our AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code. Your participation in the back-end chapter demonstrates your commitment to continuous improvement, and you will actively mentor junior team members on technical aspects.

Your Track Record

• 3+ years of experience in C# development
• Strong knowledge of C# .NET (6 and >)
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL and cloud technologies such as AWS
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Terraform is a strong plus
• Experience with both API development and batch processing
• Event-driven system architecture/design experience is a plus
