Mid-Level Web Application Developer

Job Overview

Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level Web Application Developer with a Top Secret clearance to join our team in Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA. This role is pivotal in accelerating operations through data and new analytical insights. You will be part of a team that leverages SAFe agile methodologies to provide enterprise-wide tools and applications for operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, test, and develop web-based software that is well-designed, testable, and efficient using best software development practices.
Recommend software upgrades for current and future systems.
Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional software.
Ensure software continues to function normally through maintenance and testing.
Document every aspect of the application, service, or environment for future maintenance and upgrades.

Required Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience with Databricks and Lakehouse architectures.
Proficiency in AWS OpenSearch.
Experience utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large datasets and create valuable insights.
Ability to deliver advanced visual analytic applications, including developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software.
Experience integrating third-party components, introducing new custom capabilities, modifying existing code, recommending process improvements, and automating operations and maintenance tasks.
Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and Python.
