Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Web Application Developer with a Top Secret clearance to join our team in Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA. This role is part of an organization dedicated to accelerating operations through data and new analytical insights. The team leverages SAFe agile methodologies to provide enterprise-wide tools and applications that assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale data analysis projects and design and deliver on-premises and cloud-based applications.
- Design, test, and develop web-based software using best software development practices to meet user needs.
- Translate User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes into functional applications.
- Ensure software continues to function normally through maintenance and testing.
- Document every aspect of the application, service, or environment for future maintenance and upgrades.
- Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in C (Programming Language), C#, .NET, Vue3, Typescript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of software development, user experience (UX), user interface design, and web applications.
Location
This position is located in Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA, with a transition to Huntsville, AL in 2026.
