Job Description
Nightfall AI is seeking a New Grad Backend Engineer for a 6-month contract position. This role is based in our San Francisco office, with a requirement to be on-site on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering our platform reliably, securely, and at scale. You will be responsible for building low latency, real-time microservices that process and detect sensitive data at scale, directly impacting our enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, and designers to identify customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Quickly ramp up on existing features and be responsible for shipping new features into production.
- Work with the latest technologies to reconstruct the future of ML-based data security.
Qualifications
- Current or recent BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a graduation year between December 2023 and June 2024.
- 0-2 years of full-time working experience.
- 2+ internships or co-ops.
- Passion for delivering quality end-user facing products.
- Experience with one of the following languages: Go, Rust, Python, C/C++, or any similar programming language.
- Familiarity with deployment and writing tests.
- Ability to work effectively with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Excitement for taking on projects that directly impact our enterprise customers.
- Willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment.
