Join Our Team as a Node.js Engineer Intern
Welcome to ekino! We are a global group of 600 specialists in technology, design, data, consulting, AI, and innovation, spread across 7 countries. In France, our offices are located in Pantin and Bordeaux, with some team members working fully remotely. We assist our clients in digital transformation and organizational methods, proudly developing solutions like the MyCanal player for CANAL+ and a 3D configurator for Renault.
Your Role in the Node.js Team
As part of our 20-member Node.js team, you will:
- Develop, redesign, and optimize APIs for high-traffic sites, handling millions of requests daily.
- Focus on API performance, including response times, caching, CPU optimization, and load testing.
- Adhere to quality standards, ensuring at least 80% unit test coverage, and conduct performance and end-to-end tests using tools like Sonar and TDD.
- Contribute to building scalable, extensible, and maintainable architectures and applications.
- Publish open-source components.
Technical Stack
- Node.js: Learn asynchronous programming in JavaScript, develop with Node.js on API Gateway, and use testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, and k6 for various tests.
- TypeScript: Understand basic concepts, use types for data validation, and enhance your IDE experience.
Team Environment
You will report to Olivier Guillerm and/or Julien Le Guellec. Don't worry about feeling isolated; you can always grab a coffee with Halimatou Bah.
