Altenar, a leading provider of sportsbook services to licensed gaming operators, is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Saint Julian's, Malta. Our company specializes in high-load software development, offering cutting-edge technology solutions for the iGaming industry worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
As a PHP Developer at Altenar, you will be responsible for the development of our in-house integration platform and portal technology stack. You will:
- Implement new features and extend APIs within our products.
- Maintain and enhance back-office applications.
- Integrate with Payment Services Providers and other third-party applications.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to our products.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a backend developer.
- Experience with a modern PHP framework such as Symfony, Laravel, or Yii2. Knowledge of Yii2 is an advantage.
- Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, RPC).
- Good working knowledge of Git and Linux CLI.
- A strong understanding of relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
