Back End Developer with PHP and Symfony

Join Printful as a Back End Developer

Printful is seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our Enterprise Platform Team in Riga, Latvia. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating new features supported by our backend REST API and collaborating with some of our largest customers to enhance Printful API functionalities. Your role will involve writing and reviewing code, creating automated tests, and optimizing and refactoring code while following Agile best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend features using PHP (8.2) and MySQL.
Conduct code reviews and create automated tests to ensure code quality.
Optimize and refactor existing code for improved performance.
Collaborate with international teams and customers to advance API functionalities.
Follow Agile methodologies to manage project development.

Required Skills

Proficiency in PHP and PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Yii 2.
Experience with SQL databases, particularly MySQL.
Familiarity with containerization technologies.
Knowledge of PHPUnit for testing.
Understanding of version control systems and OpenAPI.
Experience with Redis and Vue.js is a plus.
