The Role
We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and operating PHP-written microservices. You will build server-side REST APIs and create reliable, resilient software for fintech environments. Your work will involve anticipating scalability and performance issues and ensuring code quality through rigorous testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy PHP microservices using Symfony framework.
- Build server-side REST APIs.
- Ensure the reliability and resilience of software in fintech environments.
- Anticipate scalability and performance issues.
- Maintain code quality through comprehensive testing.
- Participate in code reviews and be a proactive contributor to team discussions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience with PHP and Symfony or similar PHP frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
- Experience with GitLab and continuous integration/deployment practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
