Join Intel IT as a PLM Software Application Architect

Intel Corporation is seeking a talented PLM Software Application Architect to join our IT department. This role involves defining software application architecture across client, cloud, or enterprise environments using industry best practices to meet stakeholder and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Recommendations: Recommend design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and safety for software structures, protocols, and algorithms.
• Business Requirements: Identify business requirements, functional and system specifications that meet business user needs, map them to system capabilities, and recommend technical solutions.
• System Configuration: Configure system settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create system specifications.
• Collaboration: Work with management, product owners, and project managers to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine development priorities.
• Pathfinding and Standards: Perform pathfinding, survey technologies, participate in standards committees, and present at external and internal events.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical lead on subsystems or small features, manage projects of small to medium size and complexity, and apply expertise to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience, OR
• Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience, OR
• PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of experience.

Experience Required

• Experience with one or more enterprise PLM systems.
• Led at least one large-scale PLM implementation.
• PLM configuration, customization, and administration activities.
• Experience with Items, BOM, Change Management, and Workflow automation.
• Experience in Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

• PLM integration experience with upstream and downstream systems.
• Data migration experience from legacy PLM to new PLM.
• Experience in the semiconductor domain.
• Prior experience in handling digital transformation initiatives.
