Join Our Team as a Frontend Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with your peers, taking on responsibility not only for the frontend architecture but also for the development and maintenance of our GraphQL-based API, along with its integration across various microservices. Your contributions will ensure the secure and efficient operation of the API and the delivery of static resources through Amazon Web Services (AWS) using managed services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create user interfaces based on React and develop the GraphQL-based frontend API, implementing the Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern.
- Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for the products owned by your team.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure a high-quality codebase, write and run automation tests, and monitor services.
- Collaboration: Work with QA Engineers and Product Owners in cross-functional squads.
- Innovation: Keep up to date with industry trends and technology developments.
- Support: Determine and resolve support requests and performance issues.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Relevant educational background with a technical major (e.g., Engineering, Information Technologies, or Computer Science).
- Experience: Professional experience in software engineering.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux Tool Kit, MUI, Cypress.
- API Knowledge: Knowledge of GraphQL-based and REST APIs.
- Security Practices: Experience with security best practices for frontend applications and APIs.
- Software Engineering Practices: Familiarity with pair programming, testing, clean code, code reviews, and TDD.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a dynamic environment (also remotely).
- Language: Business fluent in English.
