About the Role
At Lyra Health, we are committed to transforming mental health care through technology and data-driven solutions. We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure to support our machine learning models and applications.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with a team to build scalable infrastructure for training, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring ML models.
- AI Services: Develop, deploy, and maintain generative AI services and applications.
- Data Systems: Create systems to collect, clean, label, and store data for model features.
- Application Deployment: Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters.
- Collaboration: Work closely with machine learning engineers to support experimentation platforms and training frameworks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and solutions for ML infrastructure.
- Coding: Engage in daily coding activities to support infrastructure and application development.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in building production-level ML platforms and infrastructure.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- API Development: Experience in building production-ready RESTful APIs.
- Kubernetes: Experience with containerization and deploying applications to Kubernetes.
- ML Models: Strong understanding of ML models and principles.
- Database Management: Experience with relational and low-latency databases.
- Data Transformation: Ability to transform data in batch and streaming contexts.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to generate consensus within the team.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, SciKit-learn, and XGBoost.
- Familiarity with ML Ops tools such as MLFlow, Kubeflow, and AWS SageMaker.
- Experience in healthcare environments handling sensitive data.
