Location
This position is based in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands. You will work on-site for an average of two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week.
About the Role
As an Android Engineer, you will be part of the NOS Digitale Media department, which is responsible for developing and maintaining our websites and apps. You will work in a multifunctional scrum team consisting of six software engineers, focusing on Android, iOS, and web development. Your primary responsibility will be the NOS Android app, including Android TV apps.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product owner and designers to develop and improve new components.
- Work closely with the Android chapter, consisting of five other Android engineers, to share knowledge and address Android-specific questions.
- Contribute to the technical and visual design of NOS products.
What We Offer
- A competitive gross monthly salary ranging from €3,120 to €4,755 for a 36-hour workweek, in accordance with our collective labor agreement.
- Additional benefits include 8% holiday pay, a 6% year-end bonus, and annual periodic growth.
- A one-year contract for 32-36 hours per week, with the intention to extend to a permanent position if mutually satisfactory.
