Join Our Team as a Senior Android Developer
Are you a skilled software engineering professional with a passion for Android development? ING Nederland is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic mobile development team. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the ING Global Mobile Banking app, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary DevOps team, including Dev, Ops, UX, and business colleagues, to develop and maintain the ING Global Mobile Banking app.
- Engage proactively with teams across different countries to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure the app or feature is quality controlled through fully automated tests, for which the team is responsible.
- Work according to an Agile development process, releasing a new version of the app every two weeks.
How to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
- Over 3 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on Android development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with various testing strategies, including Espresso tests, Unit tests, and Screenshot tests.
- Experience in library development is a plus.
- A quality software development mindset and strong clean code skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to write testable code and tests.
