Job Overview
Join LG Electronics as a Senior Angular Frontend UI Web App Developer and be part of our innovative team working on the ThinQ Platform. This role is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and requires on-site presence. You will be responsible for both front-end (70%) and back-end (30%) development, contributing to the software development lifecycle that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user interfaces using the AngularJS framework.
- Collaborate with other web developers and backend engineers to create high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications.
- Unit-test the code and debug the application.
- Create custom directives and components.
- Work with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Work alongside graphic designers for web design features where required.
- Design and develop APIs as well as consume pre-built, available ones.
- Participate in scrum teams working in short sprints and ensure on-time delivery with high quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing production-grade software components and solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with web application development.
- Experience building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
- Knowledge of NodeJS and ReactJS is a plus.
- Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Experience with unit testing tools like Karma or Jasmine.
