Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) is expanding its team within the OHAI Platform & Production Engineering organization. This new division focuses on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, aiming to modernize and automate healthcare solutions. We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview

As a Software Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing, debugging, and designing software applications or operating systems. You will work on building enhancements within existing software architectures and occasionally suggest improvements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and timely delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, and tools.
• Create high-performing enterprise cloud application RESTful APIs.
• Leverage cloud-native technologies to build scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
• Apply agile development methodologies.
• Offer troubleshooting expertise for existing applications.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and performance improvements.
• Perform technical design document and code reviews.
• Foster an environment of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented languages.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks such as Helidon, Dropwizard, or Spring.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is from €62,100 to €158,200 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
