Purpose

Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to enable fit-for-purpose analytics solutions for assigned projects.
- Ensure analytical work products are consistent across projects and optimized for user experience, following design principles and standards.
- Leverage proven statistical methodologies and experiment with additional techniques to solve business problems.
- Enable data-driven insights to support assigned projects.
- Participate in functional innovation and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and functional quality standards.
- Identify business needs and support the creation of standard KPIs, reports, and statistical analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science, or equivalent field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of data science and analytics-related experience.
- Proficiency in R, Python, or other statistical packages.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques.
- Intermediate proficiency with visualization tools like Spotfire or Tableau.
- Experience with machine learning and other advanced analytics techniques preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts in layman’s terms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated history of successful execution in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively.
Additional Information
- The compensation range for this role is $102,000 to $184,000 per year.
- We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
- This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
