Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in developing a WCAG-compliant Design System with shared components across multiple platforms. You will work closely with UX designers and other teams to ensure seamless integration and development of frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design System Development: Lead the creation and maintenance of a WCAG-compliant Design System using Storybook for technical documentation.
- Component Management: Build and manage components in Storybook, ensuring they adhere to WCAG guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers and other teams to align frontend development with design requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to other teams, acting as a point of contact for technical queries related to the Design System.
- DevOps Integration: Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and testing frameworks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Angular: Minimum 3 years of experience with Angular (version 14 or later).
- Azure: At least 2 years of experience in setting up applications on MS Azure.
- WCAG Compliance: Proven experience in coding within WCAG guidelines.
- Storybook: At least 1 year of experience with Storybook or similar frontend infrastructure.
- DevOps: Experience with DevOps tasks including CI/CD, Git, and version control.
- SCSS: Minimum 5 years of experience with SCSS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a financial sector enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with .NET Core and backend development.
- Experience with YAML and Bicep for configuration management.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam, requiring 50% on-site presence. The position is initially for 5 months with the possibility of extension.
