Job Overview
As a Senior Back End Developer at In The Pocket, you will be at the forefront of building cloud-native applications that are not only user-facing but also integrate seamlessly with various systems to enable data intelligence. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications.
- Integrate applications with other systems to enhance data intelligence.
- Ensure the platform is modular, scalable, and extendable.
- Participate in continuous development, including new user stories, bug fixes, pull requests, and documentation.
- Ensure products meet all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Produce clean, readable, and testable code as a standard practice.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science/Informatics or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and Docker.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Familiarity with database technologies like Redis, MongoDB, and InfluxDB.
- Knowledge of networking and related services.
- Experience with Terraform and other relevant technologies is a plus.
