Role Overview
Join LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) as a Senior Fullstack Developer in our Engineering Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Corporate Technology (CT). This role bridges Corporate Technology and LSEG central engineering, operations, and compliance teams. You will enable CT DevOps teams to bring new software or features to production swiftly, supporting all central requirements and changes via aligned EXP squads.
Responsibilities
- Implement technical changes or lead coordinated efforts for multiple capability dependencies.
- Ensure tooling standards are followed and operational tasks are automated.
- Support CT Compliance, Security Controls, and Risk Management.
- Maintain IT operations performance and error risk in line with SLAs.
- Continuously review operating metrics and data to identify improvement opportunities.
Technical Profile
- Proficiency in HTML, ReactJs, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side programming languages like NodeJs, Java, Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Developer tools expertise (GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- General understanding of Databases and performance testing.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux Servers and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- 4-6 years experience in software development.
- Experience with Kubernetes and other orchestration tools.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on these platforms.
- Advanced skills in infrastructure as code.
- Minimum knowledge of financial markets is desirable.
